This contempt petition alleges disobedience of the order dated 17.08.2023 passed in W.A.No.914 of 2023. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Cont. P. No.2896 of 2023 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the appeal, there was an interim order and ultimately, the writ appeal was allowed and the matter was remanded to the Writ Court. He submits that since the order was under stay, the document, which was cancelled, ought to have been restored. 3. However, the learned counsel fairly submits that after remand, the writ petition again came to be allowed, in which he was not able to succeed and he has filed writ appeal, which is still pending. 4. In such circumstances, no contempt would arise and it is for the petitioner to work out his remedy in the pending writ appeal. Accordingly, this contempt petition stands closed.
