The post of Principal fall vacant for some time and therefore, the petitioner was accommodated as Principal-Incharge for the said college from 2016 to 22.09.2022. However, the petitioner has been reverted to the post of Assistant Professor. Aggrieved by this, the 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP.(MD)No.6705 of 2023 petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to appoint him as Principal of the said college, in the light of the order passed by the first respondent dated 30.01.2023. 2.The first respondent, vide proceedings dated 30.01.2023 directed the Management to appoint the petitioner as Principal of the college. However, the Management has appointed one Mr.Naganathan, the third respondent as Principal from 22.09.2022. Pending writ petition, the petitioner has filed an amendment application seeking a direction to appoint him as Principal-Incharge for the College and the same was also ordered, vide order dated 20.06.2023 in WMP.(MD)No.12244 of 2023 in WP.(MD)No.6705 of 2023. 3.The petitioner appears to have filed this writ petition under the impression that the third respondent, who is appointed as Principal, is appointed as Principal-Incharge in his place. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP.(MD)No.6705 of 2023 4.The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent/ college has clarified that the third respondent has been appointed as regular Principal for the college from 22.09.2022. 5.In view of the same, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy by challenging the order of appointment of the third respondent.
