Sessions Judge, Amritsar, the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail, however, the said order could not be communicated to the petitioner, therefore, he could not join the investigation and subsequently his application was dismissed vide further contends that the complainant party is agressor and had falsely lodged the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that the similarly situated co-accused have already been granted the concession of anticipatory bail by this Court vide order passed in CRM-M-20757-2026. No recovery is to be from the petitioner. Learned counsel has further submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the investigating agency. On the other hand, learned State counsel has filed the status report which is taken on record. She, while referring to the said report has has opposed the prayer for grant of bail by submitting that the allegations levelled against the petitioner are serious in nature. Adjourned to 11.05.2026.
