The petitioner submits that the residential premises consist of two distinct portions, one occupied by the petitioner and the other by the brother of her deceased husband. Whether the petitioner is residing in a separate portion and is entitled to a separate service connection is a matter that requires consideration by the respondents. 4. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 22.11.2023 on its own merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the third respondent, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
