Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 24.11.2022 to pay her a sum of Rs,2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lakhs only) the policy amount arising out of the death of the petitioner's son viz., M.Jayakrishnan vide policy No.130893064. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the first respondent, as on date. Hence, this petition. 3. In reply, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 24.11.2022 will be disposed of by the first respondent within a period of 8 weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record. 5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner’s representation dated 24.11.2022, after issuing due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved parties, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 27709 of 2023 __________ Page3 of 4 6.
