For Petitioner(s): Mr.P.Vijendran For Respondent(s): No Appearance For R1 Mr.P.Ganesan Government Advocate For R2 & R3 Mr.M.Swaminathan For R4 ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 4th respondent to provide the insured amount of Rs.4,09,200/- with interest to the petitioner for charred of the sugarcane crops due to the drought in the year of 2018-2019. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is entitled to an insurance amount of Rs.4,09,200 as the sugarcane crops were charred due to the drought in the year 2018-2019. Though the petitioner made a representation in this regard to the 4th respondent, the 4th respondent has failed to disburse the insurance amount. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.Learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent by referring Paragraph No.9 of the counter affidavit would submit that the eligible insurance amount has been disbursed to the petitioner and his father. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 31390 of 2023 4.Considering the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent, it is evident that the 4th respondent has disbursed the eligible insurance amount to the petitioner and his father. Therefore, this Court does not find any substance to issue further direction of the 4th respondent. If the petitioner is not satisfied with the amount disbursed to him, he has to challenge the same before the Civil court. 5.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed with liberty to workout his remedy before the Civil Court.
