This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioners’ representation dated 07.01.2023 by taking necessary action against the respondents 5 to 7 herein under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Recognized Private School (Regulation) Act 1973 and the Rules made there under. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner made a representation to the official respondents on 07.01.2023, with regard to irregularities committed by the respondents 5 to 7 in the Management and Administration, like collection of exorbitant fees etc., and to take action against them. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 and 7 would submit that already similar representation submitted by the petitioners was rejected by the District Educational Officer. 5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the District Educational Officer i.e, the 4th respondent may be directed to pass orders on the representation of the petitioners, within a stipulated period. 6. In view of the limited scope of relief sought for by the petitioners,without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 4th respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 07.01.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above directions this Writ Petition is disposed of.
