The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation, requesting the respondents to calculate the compensation by taking note of the present guideline value and disburse the compensation amount along with 11 percent interest for the land to an extent of 48.24 punjai acres in S.F.No. 227 ,228 , 229 , 233, 234/B, 236, 245, 246/A part https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 4642 of 2023 and 257 located in Vazhai Thottam, Kongudaiyampalayam Village, Kodumudi Taluk, Erode district which has been acquired under madras land reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on land) Act 1961 and for which the compensation amount has not yet been received as per the old act nor under the present Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on land) Act 1961. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition. 3. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2022 will be disposed of by the respondents 4 & 5 within a period of 12 weeks. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record. 5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 4 & 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.10.2022 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 4642 of 2023 6.
