Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and she has no concern with the said offence. He further submitted that the petitioner has been roped in the present FIR solely because she is the wife of co-accused Sonu. He argued that the petitioner was not even present on the spot at the time of commission of offence. He further argued that if the contents of the FIR are taken to be true, even then no specific injury has been attributed to the present petitioner and she is alleged to have only gave a slap to the complainant in the quarrel and thus, the same does not attract Section 109 of BNS, which has been added by the prosecution only to make the offence graver. Further, co Leesa has already been granted the concession of interim bail by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 22.01.2026 and co-accused Karan Kumar has also been granted the concession of regular bail by
25.02.2026. Moreover, the petitioner has clean antecedents as she is not involved in any other case and no recovery is to be effected from her.
