By this petition, the petitioners challenging the order dated 17.03.2023 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati directing to cancel the promotions of the petitioners on the post of Village Development Officer. 3. It is submitted that in view of the Government Resolution dated 24th September, 2024, the post of ‘Gramsevak’ and ‘Village Development Officer’ are merged and said posts is now reckoned as ‘Village Panchayat Officer’.
