MARCH 18, 2026 The petitioner – Principal of a College run by respondent no.4 – Management, is seeking directions against the respondents to release her salary from 1/9/2021, and to revise her pay scale as per seventh pay commission. She is further seeking directions to update her service book by taking entries of two additional increments granted in her favour on account of award of PhD degree. 2] The Counsel for respondent no.4 submits that prayers of the petitioner could be acceded to, if she submits service book to the Management for taking further action. 3] We, accordingly, direct the petitioner to submit service book to the Management by 31/3/2026. The respondents, particularly, respondent no.4, shall take necessary steps to release salary of the petitioner after revising her pay as per seventh pay commission, and 2026:BHC-NAG:4518-DB 14-WP-5225-2023 2 make payment of salary with effect from 1/9/2021. Necessary formalities, including approval by respondent no.3, shall be completed by 30/6/2026. 4] So far as grievance of the petitioner, as regards deduction of salary and deletion of her name from HTE Sevaarth Portal, respondent no.3 shall address these issues within three weeks from today. 5] So far as the grievance put forth by the petitioner, as regards her suspension order, which, according to respondent no.4, has culminated in final order in terms of enquiry conducted by the Management, we grant the petitioner liberty to challenge the same in separate proceedings, if there is no other legal impediment. Benefit under Section 14 of the Limitation Act, 1963, shall be extended. 6] The petition is disposed of in terms of above. (JUDGE) (JUDGE) Sumit
