This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed praying for the following substantive relief: “A) This Hon’ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondents to release and pay the arrears of commutation amount to the Petitioner, as per the Government Resolution dated 5th February, 2021;” 2. We find from paragraph 7 to the petition that a proposal of the petitioner has been forwarded by the College to respondent No.1. It is relevant to extract the contents of paragraph 7 which read thus: “7. Petitioner states that in view Government Resolution dated 5th February, 2021 issued by Government of Maharashtra, on 9th August, 2021 Respondent No.3 College forwarded the Petitioner’s proposal to Respondent No.1, for the payment of arrears of commutation of pension to the Petitioner. Hereto annexed and marked as Exhibit “C” is a copy of proposal dated 9 th August,2021.” 3.
