BHIMAVARAM. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased issue a writ or orders more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not paying the Crop insurance amount for the year 2020-2021 to the lands of the petitioners in Sy ~ 2 ~ No. 554/3 an extent of acr. 3.04 cents, R.S. No. 136 , acr. 7.12 cents, R.S. No. 554-4A acr.1.05 cents AND , R.S.No. 554-4B, acr.0.28 cents of Yandagandi village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari district. An amount of Rs.2,49,104.00 ( Two Lacks Forty nine thousand and one not four rupees only) respectively despite given undertaking as illegal arbitrary and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to issue Crop insurance amount for the year 2020-2021 to me Sarva season to the lands of me. GP FOR AGRICULTURE ~ 3 ~ THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 1450 of 2023 ORDER:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “....issue a writ or orders more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not paying the Crop insurance amount for the year 2020-2021 to the lands of the petitioners in Sy.No. 554/3 an extent of Ac. 3.04 cents, R.S. No. 136 , Acr. 7.12 cents, R.S. No. 554-4A Acr.1.05 cents and , R.S.No. 554- 4B, Acr.0.28 cents of Yandagandi village, Undi Mandal, West Godavari district to an amount of Rs.2,49,104.00 ( Two Lakhs Forty nine thousand one hundred and four rupees only) respectively despite given an undertaking as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to issue Crop insurance amount for the year 2020- 2021 to me Sarva season to the lands of me…” 2. Heard Sri Nagabathula Srinivasa Rao, counsel for the petitioner and Ms. M. Sandhya Deepthi, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Food and Agriculture for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during pendency of the writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner has substantially been redressed. He further submits that the balance amount claimed by the petitioner has been released by the respondents and the due amount payable to the petitioner has been paid. In view of the subsequent developments, learned counsel would submit that no further orders are required in the present writ petition. ~ 4 ~ 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents does not dispute the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner regarding release of the amount during the pendency of the writ petition. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the amount claimed in the writ petition has already been released and that the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
