T N M RANGA RAO The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the order passed by this Court on 13.09.2022 in W.P.No.43482 of 2018. 2. The petitioner has filed the aforesaid writ petition aggrieved by the action of the respondents in rejecting the claim of the petitioner for counting of contingent service rendered by him for the purpose of pensionary benefits. This Court, on 13.09.2022, passed the following order: “…this court is inclined to allow the Writ Petition by setting aside the orders passed by the 1st respondent, vide memo dated 19.07.2018 and further, the respondents are directed to consider the case of the petitioner by reckoning the past service prior to his regularization for the purpose of pensionary benefits within a period of Four(04) weeks from the date of receipt of the order, in the light of the observation made above.” 3. Heard Mrs. K. Hima Bindu, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri. P. Ravi Kumar, learned counsel for the 1st respondent and Sri. T.N.M. Ranga Rao, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent. 4. Pursuant to the issuance of Form – I notice to respondent Nos.1 to 3, they have appeared before this Court and furnished a copy of the documents in compliance to the orders passed by this Court whereby, the pension of the petitioner was duly revised from the date of his initial appointment i.e. 01.03.1987 from Rs.10,479/- to Rs.13,300/- and the said proposal has also been forwarded to the District Audit Officer, State Audit Department, 4 Visakhapatnam vide Rc.No.DC-VSP/08/Retired/2022, dated 09.06.2026 in compliance to the orders passed by this Court. During the course of arguments, when the learned counsel for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that subsequent to bifurcation of districts, the concerned office to consider the case of the petitioner falls under Anakapalle district, the 2nd respondent stated that steps were already initiated to transfer petitioner’s service record to the concerned district. 5. In view of the fact that the orders passed by this Court on 13.09.2022 were complied with by the respondents, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
