Complaining non-compliance of the order dated 16th December, 2022, the contempt application has been filed. 2. Today, Ms. Chattaraj, learned Advocate representing the alleged contemnor by placing before this Court an affidavit of compliance would submit that the alleged contemnor has since complied with the direction passed by this Court on 16th December, 2022 which has since been modified by the order dated 14th May, 2024 in APOT/243/2022 whereby the Division Bench had modified the order passed by the learned Single Judge by directing the Corporation to pay interest on the differential amount towards payment of gratuity from February, 2020 till the date of actual payment i.e. 12th March, 2021 at the rate of 6% per annum within a period of four weeks from the date of such order. The order of the Division Bench also provided that in default, the rate of interest shall stand increased to 10% per annum as directed by the learned Single Judge. 2 3. Since the entire amount has already been disbursed in favour of the petitioner in the light of the observation made by Division Bench of this Court, nothing survives in the contempt application. 4.
