The present writ petition pertains to the rejection of a complaint filed by petitioner No. 2 seeking disqualification of nine Zilla Parishad Members (ZPMs), who were elected in the Panchayat election held in the year 2020. The subsequent Panchayat election has already been conducted in the year 2025. In view of the subsequent election and the fact that the term of the ZPMs elected in the year 2020 has already come to an end, the writ petition has become infructuous.
