Accordingly, the respondents have fixed the seniority and issued proceedings dated 28.02.2023. Aggrieved by the re-fixation of seniority, some of the Head Constables have filed writ petition before this Court vide W.P.No.9019 of 2023 and a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court observed that any promotions to be taken in the meanwhile are subject to the result of the writ petition. 2. As the respondents have fixed the seniority list, nothing survives in the contempt case to adjudicate further. 3. Therefore, the Contempt Case is closed.
