CORAM : THE CHIEF JUSTICE DHIRAJ SINGH THAKUR SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN DATE : 15th April 2026 P C : Learned Standing Counsel for Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (T.T.D.) submits that the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, which has inspected the Tirumala Area in the month of November, 2025 as per the directions of this Court, has not still submitted a report which is awaited. It is further stated that an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees fifteen lakhs only), which was ordered, has since been paid to the parents of the deceased girl, who had suffered the animal attack. 2 2. Since the experts from the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun are working in coordination with the T.T.D. and have also inspected the area and made some recommendation, which the T.T.D. states have been followed in its letter and spirit, we feel that no further directions for the time being are required to be issued and that the recommendations and directions of the experts be followed in letter and spirit with a view to prevent any human and animal conflict in future. 3. Be that as it may, we close these proceedings with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court again in case the situation so warrants. 4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition (PIL) is closed.
