Also heard Mr. Bhaskar Sarma, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 389 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying for suspension of sentence imposed upon the applicant as well as for allowing the applicant to go on bail. 3. The applicant Arjun Deb Barman was sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 (ten) years and pay fine of ₹1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh) by the learned Additional Sessions Judge (FTC), Karbi Anglong, Diphu in NDPS Case No. 13/2020. 4. The applicant has already completed 5 years 10 months in custody. Thus, he has already completed half of the sentence imposed upon him. 5. The sentence imposed upon the applicant by the learned Additional Sessions Judge (FTC), Karbi Anglong, Diphu in NDPS Case No. 13/2020 shall remain suspended till disposal of the connected Criminal Revision Petition. 6. The applicant Arjun Deb Barman shall be allowed to go on bail on furnishing a bail bond of ₹50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge (FTC), Karbi Anglong, Diphu. 7.
