Learned counsel, after arguing the matter for a while, fairly submits that, by efflux of time and subsequent developments, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 2. We have also gone through the impugned order and are of the view that the present petition does not survive for adjudication, particularly in view of the fact that the challan has already been presented and the charges have been framed. 3. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous, with liberty to the petitioner to file an application for grant of regular bail before the learned trial Court. 4. Needless to say, that in the event such an application is filed, the same shall be considered and decided by the learned trial Court with reasonable dispatch, keeping in view the fact that the petitioner has been in incarceration for the last four years.
