Learned counsels for the parties have drawn the attention of this Court to the joint application dated 20.07.2026, whereby it has been apprised that the respondents-Insurance Company has agreed to pay Rs. 5,00,000/- in lump sum as enhanced amount, over and above the award passed by the Tribunal for Rs. 1,35,000/- with interest @ 7.5% per annum. The statement is taken on record. 2. Accordingly, the appeal is disposed of in terms of the settlement dated 20.07.2026, in the manner that the claimant is held entitled to a lump sum enhanced compensation of Rs. 5,00,000/- over and above the awarded amount of Rs. 1,35,000/- which award has been already satisfied by the Insurance Company. The aforesaid lump sum amount of Rs. 5,00,000/- shall be deposited before the Registry of this Court within a period of 30 days, whereafter the same shall be released in favour of the appellant after due verification. 3.
