The instant contempt has been preferred against the order/judgment passed by this Court dated 23.11.2022 by virtue of which the writ petition filed by the petitioner was disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to consider the case of the petitioner as regards the payment of admitted liability along with interest, preferably within a period of two months from the date a copy of the said order along with the writ petition was served upon the respondents. 02. Since the order passed by this Court dated 23.11.2022 was not complied with within the stipulated period, the petitioner has preferred the instant contempt petition. The record reveals that the respondents were granted time to comply the order dated 29.07.2024 passed by this Court in the instant contempt petition whereby respondents were directed to relook in the matter and to pass fresh consideration order within a period of three weeks from the date the aforesaid order came to be passed in the instant contempt petition strictly in S. No. 14 2 | P a g e CCP(S) No. 78/2023 tune with the order/judgment passed by this Court by way of filing fresh compliance report, as the earlier compliance report was rejected by this Court. 03. The order passed by this Court dated 23.11.2022 followed by order dated 29.07.2024 in the instant contempt petition has not been complied with. However, learned counsel for the respondents assures the Court that the order dated 23.11.2022 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 835/2022 followed by order dated 29.07.2024 in the instant contempt petition whereby, the respondents were directed to pass fresh consideration order will be complied with within a period of three weeks from today strictly in tune with the order/judgment passed by this Court. 04. In light of the assurance extended by the learned counsel for the respondents, nothing remains to be adjudicated any further in the instant contempt petition and, accordingly, proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged. However, petitioner will be at liberty to revive the instant contempt petition in case aforesaid directions are not complied with within the aforesaid period and in that eventuality coercive measures shall be taken against the respondents.
