The petitioner- Farooq Ahmad Sheikh came forward with the present writ petition when he was confronted with an eviction notice dated 16.12.2021 for legal course of action aimed at seeking his eviction from the premises/property, which had come under the effects of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, with the Enforcement Directorate being in cognizance of the investigation/enquiry. 2. The institution of this writ petition had taken place on 21.05.2022. 3. During the pendency of the writ petition and because of intervening developments, in terms whereof the petitioner led himself to appropriate appellate proceedings before the appellate tribunal under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act (SAFEMA), New Delhi, and also resorted to proceedings under 08 Regular the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the present petition has lost its efficacy and purpose, making this Court a mute spectator to proceedings in which this Court cannot grant any indulgence due to the constraints and restraints imposed by the statute. 4. Mr. Areeb Javed Kawoosa and Mr. Aatir Javed Kawoosa, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be allowed to withdraw this petition without prejudice to his remedies available under law which he has already resorted to and which may come across for him to avail by reference to the subject matter of the present writ petition. 5.
