1. This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2. Heard Mr. A. Kanungo, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. C.K. Pradhan, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate appearing for the Opp. Parties.
3. Even though the present writ petition has been filed inter alia challenging order dtd.19.12.2020 under Annexure-3, wherein claim of the Petitioner to get the benefit of promotion to the rank of ASI was rejected, on the ground that Petitioner has forgone the same on earlier occasion, but learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner contended that after issuance of the order under Annexure-3, Petitioner though represented on 06.10.2022 under Annexure-5 expressing her willingness to undergo the training, but the same was never considered. It is accordingly contended that since Petitioner is now willing to undergo the training and a representation to that effect is pending since 06.10.2022 before Opp. Party No. 2, Opp. Party No. 2 be directed to take a lawful decision on the same.

4. Learned Addl. Govt. Advocate has no serious objection to the course of action proposed by the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner.
5. Having heard learned counsel appearing for the Parties and considering the submission made, this Court while disposing the writ petition, directs Opp. Party No. 2 to take a lawful decision on the representation made by the Petitioner on 06.10.2022 under Annexure-5 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of this order with due communication to the Petitioner.
6. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of.
