Statements of the parties, in terms of compromise annexed with the petition, have been reduced into writing before learned Registrar Judicial of this Court. 02. Respondent no. 6, the complainant at whose instance impugned FIR came to be registered, has stated that she has arrived at an amicable settlement with the petitioner/accused. Statement of the alleged abducttee, respondent no. 8, has also been recorded, wherein she has stated that she has married petitioner Ayan Tariq and, in view of amicable settlement, she has no objection to the quashment of the impugned FIR. Parties have been identified by their respective counsels. 03. In view of amicable settlement between the parties, present petition is allowed. As a result, impugned FIR and charge-sheet pending on the files of learned Municipal Magistrate, Jammu, are hereby quashed. 04. Disposed of along with connected application(s). 05.
