JUSTICE JAVED IQBAL WANI, JUDGE (ORDER) 25.02.2026 In the instant contempt petition, the petitioner alleges non-compliance of order dated 4.11.2022, passed in WP(C) No. 2255/2021, whereby the respondents came to be directed to consider the claim of the petitioner in light of SRO 460 of 2017 dated 26.10.2017, and pay him the wages to which he is found to be entitled to in consequence of such consideration, requiring the respondents to pass speaking order in this regard. Respondents have filed the statement of facts and passed the consideration order No. 175-Acctts of 2022 dated 21.12.2022, wherein it is inter-alia stated that SRO 460 of 2017 dated 26.10.2017, covers the scheduled employees, notified by the Labour and Employment Department and in view of nature of service performed by the petitioner, the petitioner is entitled to be paid in terms of Government order No.236-Fof 2012, dated 19.10.2012, and as such, the petitoner’s claim is rejected. Having regard to the aforesaid specific stand taken by the respondents inasmuch as, consideration order dated 21.12.2022, the respondents, seemingly have complied with order dated 04.11.2022. Accordingly, contempt notice issued is hereby recalled and the proceedings are closed.
