Petitioner has filed this writ petition on 29.06.2022 praying amongst others, for a direction to the Opposite Parties to settle Plot No. 1191 in Khata No. 483, of mouza Dagarapada, Tahsil – Dharmasala, District – Jajpur, in his name. 2. None appears for the Petitioner on call, though names of two counsels have been reflected in the cause-list. Moreover, the petitioner has not also cured the defects, as reported by the Stamp Report dated 13.07.2022, till date. 3. It reveals from the record that the Petitioner is occupying the said government land unauthorisedly. From the date of filing the present writ petition on 29.06.2022, the petitioner did not move this application at any point of time. 4. Mr. Jateswar Nayak, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate appearing for the Opposite Parties – State submitted that the Annexures appended to the writ petition by the petitioner indicate that the kisam of the land is “Jalashaya”, i.e. Water Body. It is further submitted by Mr. Nayak, learned AGA that such water-land categorized as “Jalashaya” cannot be settled or its status cannot be changed/converted. 5. Since the date of filing of the writ petition on 29.06.2022 the Petitioner did not take any steps to move this writ petition, it appears that he has lost interest in the matter. 6.
