However, he has been unable to contact the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner for the past six months. 2. In view of the aforesaid submission, this Court is of the considered opinion that keeping the writ petition pending will serve no useful purpose. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. However, liberty is granted to the learned counsel for the petitioner to move an appropriate application to bring on record the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner within a period of two (2) months from the date of uploading of the order on the official website.
