The contempt petition had been filed consequent to the direction issued in W.P.(MD)No.10225 of 2021 dated 17.06.2021 by a Coordinate Division Bench of this Court, wherein it had been directed to consider a representation given by https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CONT P(MD) No. 1380 of 2022 __________ Page2 of 4 the petitioner on 03.05.2021, which had been given for direction to lay Paver Block East West pathway in the middle of the lands in Survey No.240/14 and 240/15 and also to remove the encroachments in the pathway in survey number 240 /16 in Nemam Village, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District. 2.Communication had been addressed by the Assistant Director Panchayat at Sivagangai in Na.Ka.No.A7//2434 /2017 dated 08.10.2021, wherein it has been stated that the said survey numbers had been classified as Kovil Natham and therefore, Paver Block Pathway cannot be laid.
