Heard both sides. 2. The petitioner is a resident of Keelatheru in Ilayangudi Taluk. According to him, the private respondents herein have encroached on a public street in S.No.296/7. It is not in dispute that S.No.296/7 has been classified as street. 3. According to the private respondents, this mistake crept in during UDR. The fifth respondent instead of applying to the District Revenue Officer had given a mere complaint before the RDO, Sivagangai. 4. However, taking note of the said facts of this case, we permit the respondents 5 & 6 to submit a formal petition before the jurisdictional DRO, Sivagangai District within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If such an application is filed, the DRO shall dispose of the application on merits in accordance with law after notice to the petitioner within a period of three months thereafter.
