When this matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the present petition is pending for a long period. Therefore, though he had sought for larger relief in this petition, he had restricted his relief to the extent to request this Court to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the application dated 22.04.2022 filed by the 2nd respondent. Hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the application dated 22.04.2022 will be disposed of within a period of 8 weeks. 4. In the case on hand, it was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that now the petitioner has restricted his relief and requested this Court to issue a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the 2nd respondent’s application dated 22.04.2022, since it will be sufficient to meet out the case of the petitioner. 6. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the application dated 22.04.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is open to the petitioner to make all his submissions before the concerned Authorities. 7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
