For Petitioner : No Appearance For Respondents – 1, 2 & 5 : Mrs.S.Anitha, Special Government Pleader For Respondents – 3 & 4 : Mr.S.Vasudevan ORDER The relief sought in the present Writ Petition is to direct the Respondents 1 to 5 to take an appropriate action against the Respondents 6 to 8 and their associates based on the Petitioner’s Representation dated 08.08.2022 and submit the report before this Court, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 2. The case of the Petitioner is that Respondents 6 to 8 had defrauded her by receiving a sum of Rs.9,09,000/- from her under the pretext that they would implement the Ayushman Bharath Prathan Manthri Jan Arogya Yojana Insurance Scheme. Hence, she submitted a Representation dated 08.08.2022 before the Respondents 1 to 5, requesting them to set up a special investigation team to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.24319 of 2022 __________ Page4 of 6 Respondents 6 to 8 who have been cheating the general public and exploiting their hard earned money under the guise of implementing the Central Government’s Welfare Schemes, particularly, Ayushman Bharath Prathan Manthri Jan Arogya Yojana Insurance Scheme and also, requesting them to pass an order to refund the Petitioner a sum of Rs.9,09,000/- defrauded by the Respondents 6 to 8. However, even after the receipt of Petitioner’s Representation dated 08.08.2022, Respondents 1 to 5 have not taken any action against the Respondents 6 to 8. Therefore, left with no other alternative, Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 3. There is no representation on behalf of the Petitioner. 4. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appeared on behalf of Respondents 1, 2 & 5 and the learned counsel for Respondents 3 & 4. 5. Considering the limited relief sought by the Petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 5th Respondent to consider the Petitioner’s Representation dated 08.08.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the Petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.24319 of 2022 __________ Page5 of 6 6.
