The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 23.05.2017 requesting the respondent to invoke the proper legal procedure in the event of the respondent intends to secure the petitioner’s land in survey No. 46/2 to an extent of 3.20 acres in saminaickenpatti village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District in invoke of land acquisition laws or any statutory procedures and to provide an opportunity to the petitioner to make adequate objections. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition. 3. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 12 weeks. 4. In view of the above, it appears that the petitioner's representation was filed as early as in the year 2017. In such case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondents. In such case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of said representation. 6. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.
