SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 The Counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue involved is covered by an order dated 16/4/2026 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in Writ Petition No. 7949/2022 [Kishor Damodhar Khobragade & Oths. Vs. The State of Maharashtra & Oths.] with other connected matters. The Court considered the judgment passed in Writ Petition No. 3642/2021 as also Writ Petition Stamp No. 9543/2021. The Court further considered the Circular dated 29/2/2024 issued by the Government of Maharashtra, and granted liberty to the petitioner to move fresh representation before the concerned Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The Court directed the CEO to consider the representation in the light of the decisions taken in the Writ Petitions mentioned above as also the Circular dated 29/2/2024. 5-WP-4479-2022 2 2] Accordingly, and in terms of the order dated 16/4/2026, we permit the petitioners to move fresh representation before the CEO, Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal, who shall consider the same in the light of the decisions taken in the Writ Petitions mentioned above as also the Circular dated 29/2/2024. The decision shall be taken within four weeks from the date of receiving representation. If required, the CEO shall also take decision in respect of payment to be released from the date of stoppage of increment till its restoration. 3] The petition is disposed of in terms of above directions.
