Learned AGP informed that the petitioner has been given further opportunity of hearing and accordingly they are in process to consider the pension claim of the petitioner and seeks time in the matter. 2. Accordingly, two weeks time is granted with a clear understanding that no further time will be granted in the matter as the matter pertains to the pensionary benefits of the petitioner. 3. Stand over to 29th August, 2025.” 2. In response, learned A.G.P. and learned counsel for respondent No.2 makes a statement, on instructions, that pensionary benefits will be released to the petitioner within a short time. 3. The statement is accepted. 4. The purpose of filing the petition is thus served. The petition is accordingly disposed of. 5. So far as the issue of interest is concerned, counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner is entitled to interest for the delayed payment in terms of section 129-B of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982. 6.
