1. Prayer in this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the advertisement dated 09.12.2021 (Annexure P-1) to the extent of eligibility criteria for qualification sought under advertisement for the post of Lecturer in Food Technology. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondent to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Lecturer in Food Technology and permit the petitioner to submit the application form for the post of Lecturer in Food Technology issued against advertisement No.11/2021 (Annexure P-1), by considering M.Sc. (Food Science & Technology with M.Tech.) as one of the qualifications for the post of Lecturer in Food Technology.
2. The case has been called twice since morning and despite that there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The situation was not different even on the last date of hearing. It appears that neither the petitioner nor his counsel is interested in pursuing the present petition.
