DATED : 24.08.2026 The present petition challenges an order dated 07.03.2022 passed by respondent No. 2, District Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Yavatmal. 2. The present Civil Application is moved for disposal of the instant writ petition by recording settlement between the consenting parties. 3. The terms on which settlement has been reached is reproduced in paragraph No. 2, and for the sake of brevity, the same is reproduced in the present order. “2. The petitioners as well as contesting respondent no. 1 have agreed to settle the dispute /matter amicably on the following terms and conditions: - (2) 24 wp 3923-2022 A. The petitioners shall pay an amount of Rs. 61,47,973/- (Rupees Sixty-one lakhs forty seven thousand nine hundred and seventy three only) towards full and final settlement to respondent no. 1 APMC of all its claim towards the balance Market Cess including supervision fees for the crops year 2020-2021 and 2023-2024. The bifurcation of the amount are as under: - i) Rs. 60,42,320/- towards crops year 2020-2021. ii) Rs. 1,05,653/- towards crops year 2023-2024. B. The Petitioners shall pay the above said amount to the respondent no. 1 APMC within 15 days from the date of the final disposal of this Writ Petition. C. The respondent no. 1 APMC agreed that after receipt of the aforesaid settlement amount, the respondent no. 1 APMC shall not claim any interest or any further amount of Rupees in any nature from the petitioners Corporation in respect of the market fees and supervision fees for the crops year 2020-2021 and 2023-2024 and further declare that no cause of action of any nature shall survive against the petitioner corporation.” 4. In that view of the matter, the Civil Application is allowed. 5. The instant writ petition is disposed of on the basis of terms of settlement as recorded in the said Civil Application. 6.
