The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to issue No Objection Certificate to petitioner for applying to the posts of Professor against the advertisements No.AIIMS/BTI/RC/Faculty/368 at AIIMS Bathinda, Punjab, No.AIIMS/Patna/FTS/83734/FC/2021 at AIIMS Patna, Bihar and No.AIIMS/Raipur/Rec. Cell/FR/2021/406 at AIIMS Raipur and to appear in interview of the above said post or any other post in any other institution and PUNEET CHAWLA 2026.07.21 17:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

further permitting petitioner to participate in the selection process for the above said post.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he does not wish to press the present writ petition and seeks permission to withdraw the same, as the relief claimed therein no longer survives and the petition has been rendered infructuous.
3. In view of the above statement, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, as having been rendered infructuous.
