The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in the nature of certiorari quashing the action of the respondents in orally terminating the services of the petitioner without issuing any show cause and without following any principles of natural justice directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service w.e.f. date of illegal termination 15.11.2019 by regularizing his services by taking him on panel at par with similarly situated employees with all consequential benefits including salary bonus etc. along with interest @ 18%. Further directions to the respondents to release the salary of the petitioner for the additional work of PTS (Part Time Sweeper) w.e.f. 01.07.2013 till the date of his illegal termination dated 15.11.2019 with interest @ 18%. Further a direction to the respondents to release daily wages salary for period w.e.f. 06.11.2019 to 14.11.2019 and the payable bonus amounting to Rs.6997.20/- for the AY 2018-19 with interest @ 18% which was duly sanctioned but has MOHD AYUBbeen illegally retained by Respondent No.4 illegally. 2026.07.17 17:02 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied if respondent No.2-General Manager of Canara Bank is directed to consider and decide the representation filed by the petitioner. 3. In view of same, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation filed by the petitioner within a period of two months from today. 4. It is made clear that if the representation is not decided within a period of two months from today, costs of Rs.50,000/- shall be imposed upon respondent No.2. The said cost shall be deducted from the salary of respondent No.2 and to be paid to the petitioner. 5. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
