Learned counsel prays for deletion of name of respondent No.4 from the array of parties as he had filed a separate writ petition.

Learned counsel submits that no reasons have been assigned while considering the representation of the petitioners inasmuch as he relies on the
judgment of Hon’ble the Supreme Court in Orissa Lift Irrigation Corp. Ltd. vs. Rabi Sankar Patro and Others, 2018(1) SCC 468 to contend that distance education certificate, which was obtained till the year 2005 was to be considered and between 2005 to 2013, the same was not to be taken into account. He prays that the matter be considered in terms thereof, in a time bound manner.
4. Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to re-consider the matter of the petitioners, taking note of the aforesaid judgment, MOHIT 2026.07.16 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-25318-2022 (O&M) -2- uninfluenced by the order impugned, within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
