The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 17.11.2021 (Annexure P-8), vide which the petitioner has been placed under suspension in violation of Rule 3(d) of Service Rules, and to direct the respondents to reinstate him in service with all consequential benefits.

Learned counsel for the respondents-SGPC has produced copy of the order dated 09.08.2023, whereby the services of the petitioner have been terminated. The same is taken on record and a copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel for the petitioner. He further submits that in view of the said development, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.
