GUNESHWAR SHARMA Order 07.09.2026 [1] Present Mr. RP. Daida, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Y. Ashang, learned PP assisted by Mr. Phungyo Zingkhei, learned Dy. G.A. for the State respondent. [2] The matter is listed today for compliance of the direction in order dated 03.08.2026 by which the appeal was disposed of by partly allowing the appeal by reducing the quantum of sentence from four years to the period undergone two years and six months and enhancing a fine of Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 50,000/-. Rs. 25,000/- has already been submitted and today the matter is fixed for compliance of balance amount of Rs. 25,000/- to be deposited with the Trial Court. [3] Mr. RP. Daida, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that in compliance of the order dated 03.08.2026, the appellant has filed an affidavit dated 05.09.2026 and the same has been filed with the Registry today, i.e., 07.09.2026 thereby enclosing a copy of the receipt bearing No. 57052 dated 10.08.2026 for deposit of the balance amount of Rs. 25,000/-.
