The substantive prayer made in the petition reads thus: ‘In the light of the submissions made above, it is, therefore, respectfully prayed that the record of the present case be kindly summoned and that the present petition be kindly allowed, împugned orders dated 04.01.2020 and 19.02.2021 passed in applications dated 06.11.2019 and 27.11.2020 respectively moved on behalf of the prosecution be kindly allowed and the directions may kindly be issued for summoning Manjit Singh Inspector for deposing as a witness in the above mentioned FIR in the interest of justice.’ 2. Learned State counsel, during the course of hearing, very fairly submits that the respondent-accused stands acquitted vide judgment dated 21.9.2021 passed by the concerned Special Judge at Ludhiana. 3.
