GUNESHWAR SHARMA ORDER 25.02.2026 [1] Present Mr. M. Nabakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. GA on behalf of Mr. H. Samarjit, learned GA for the State respondents. [2] Vide mediation proceedings dated 10.12.2025, the matter is settled. It is submitted that the writ petition may be disposed of in terms of the settlement in mediation proceedings dated 10.12.2025 and the same is reproduced below: “Settlement Agreement Imphal, 10th December, 2025 As directed by the Hon,ble High Court order dated 01.08.2025 passed in WP (C) No. 1083 of 2022, all the parties from both the sides were present in person for 1 (one) session of mediation on 14/08/2025, 27/08/2025, 01/10/2025, 08/10/2025, 10/11/2025, 24/11/2025 and 10/12/2025 agreed to the following terms and conditions to bring about and amicable solution to the above mentioned Writ Petition. The parties agreed to the following terms and condition: That the 1st party, Jemi Ningombam, Petitioner agrees to close the above mentioned Writ Petition as her relief prayed for is being in process by the concerned department. State Revenue Department Respondent No. 2. That, the Respondent No. 3 also states that petitioner's application has been further processed / sent for further government proceedings to the concerned department. State Revenue Department duly verified, approved and recommended by the District Administration. And shall be listed in the list of converse/diverse agricultural land to Homestead Land after proper verification and other governmental proceedings needed and same is accepted by the Petitioner. That, this agreement should be final and binding to all the parties concerned. In the light of above terms, the mutual agreement was signed between the Petitioner and Respondents of WP(C) No. 1083 of 2022 in the presence of the Mediator.” [3] This Court has perused the mediation report and considering the submissions made by the parties, the W.P. (C) No. 1083 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the settlement in mediation proceedings dated 10.12.2025. [4] Interim order, if any, is merged with the final order.
