1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.
2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is the husband of the de facto complainant. The prime allegation regarding sexual assault is against the father-in-law who is in custody.
3. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the de facto complainant strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.
4. Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statement of the victim recorded before the learned Magistrate as well as the medical report and statements of other witnesses.

5. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials in the case diary against the petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being CRM(A)/342/2026 is dismissed.
7. Criminal Section is directed to make available urgent photostat certified copy of this order to the parties, if applied for, upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
