PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: SRK, J Crl.P.No.8360 of 2022 3 O R D E R This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed by the petitioners herein/Accused Nos.3 to 5, to quash the proceedings in FIR No.408 of 2022 of IV Town Police Station, Kurnool, registered against the petitioners/Accused Nos.3 to 5 and other accused for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners/Accused Nos.3 to 5 submits that subsequent to filing of Criminal Petition, police conducted investigation and after completion of the same, filed Charge Sheet and it was taken on file as Calendar Case No.3199 of 2023 by the learned I Additional Junior Civil Judge, Kurnool and on 09.12.2023 the case was settled before the Lok Adalat, and in view of the same, the cause in the Criminal Petition does not survive for adjudication, rendering the Criminal Petition infructuous. 3. Recording the said submission, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
