Bhuyan, learned Senior Counsel for the BTC. On the last occasion, when the matter was taken up for consideration on 07.11.2025, Shri Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner had informed this Court that the petitioner had expired and he would like to file appropriate application for substitution. The matter was accordingly directed to be listed, if such application was not filed within a stipulated period of 6(six) months. Shri Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner has fairly submitted that in spite of his best efforts, no contact could be made with the family members of his client. In view of the above, this Court has no other alternative but to close this writ petition with a liberty to the legal heirs to file appropriate application, if so advised in accordance with law.
