ORDER 17.08.2026 Vide order dated 01.04.2014, the respondents were directed to accord consideration to the case of the petitioner for regularization of his services and accordingly, in compliance to the order dated 01.04.2014, the respondents considered the case of the petitioner and vide a detailed speaking order dated 27.10.2025, rejected the claim of the petitioner on the ground that he is figuring at Serial No. 33 of the seniority list and, as such, cannot be regularized ahead of other senior daily wagers. To substantiate the assertion that the petitioner is figuring at Serial No. 33 of the seniority list, the respondents have also placed the seniority list of Daily Rated/ Consolidated Workers on record. The petitioner has to wait for his turn and cannot jump the gun over and above his senior colleagues, who are also awaiting their regularization before him. In this view of the matter, nothing remains for adjudicating in this contempt petition. Accordingly, the proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to question the legality of order dated 27.10.2025, is so advised.
