This Court, vide order dated 03.07.2026, had directed Mr. Jasbir Sing, Investigating Officer, to conclude the investigation in the instant matter. However, the investigation could not be concluded on the said dated as the FSL report had not received. 2. Today, when the matter was taken up, Mr. Jasbir Singh, Investigating Officer, is present in person along with the Case Diary. He submits that the investigation has been completed and the charges have been proved in the impugned FIR bearing No. 52/2016 dated 16.06.2016 registered under Sections 420,465, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B RPC at Police Station, Crime Branch, Jammu, against petitioner Nos. 1 & 2. Therefore, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has prayed that the rider imposed by this Court vide order dated 23.11.2022 be vacated, as the charge-sheet has since been filed against petitioner Nos. 1 & 2. Sr. No. 24 2 CRM (M) No. 963/2022 3. Insofar as petitioner Nos. 3 to 7 are concerned, the offence has not been proved against them and they have been exonerated of all the charges. 4. It has also been brought to the notice of this Court that the charge-sheet has since been filed before the Competent Court on 17.072026. 5. In the light of the aforesaid backdrop, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the instant petition alive. Accordingly, the same is disposed of by directing the petitioners to appear before the Competent Court, where the challan has already been filed, and to avail all available legal and factual grounds in accordance with law. 6. Interim direction passed by this Court vide order dated 23.11.2022 shall stand vacated. 7. Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of along with all connected application(s).
