IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
CRLMP No.2353 of 2022
Ravi Kiran Mahapatra
…. Petitioner None -versus- Sigma Dash …. Opposite Party None
CORAM:
THE HON’BLE MISS JUSTICE SAVITRI RATHO
Order No.
ORDER 29.06.2026
04.
(Through Hybrid Mode)
1. None appears for the Petitioner or the Opposite Party.
2. The CRLMP has been filed challenging the order dated 18.07.2022 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhubaneswar in C.R.P. No.188 of 2019. By the said order the application filed by the Opposite Party for grant of interim maintenance has been allowed directing the Petitioner to pay an amount of Rs.8000/- per month to the Opposite Party with effect from the date of application i.e. 06.01.2020.
3. On the last date i.e. 06.03.2024 when the matter was listed none had appeared for the Petitioner and the Opposite Party.
4. In view of the fact that almost four years have elapsed since the order dated 18.07.2022 was passed, it is presumed that in the meanwhile the CRP No.188 of 2019 must have been disposed of rendering this CRLMP infructuous, for which the learned counsel for the parties were absent on the last date and have not appeared.
5. The CRLMP is therefore dismissed.
6. Liberty is granted to the Petitioner for revival of the case, if cause of action still survives by filing an appropriate application within a period of two weeks.
